This classic Swiss milk chocolate is a perfect sweet enjoyment that delicately melts in the mouth when savouring it. Despite an apparent simplicity, it stands out with its great creamy taste providing a finest heavenly moment of pleasure.
History of Cailler milk chocolate bar:
In existence since 1819, Cailler is the oldest Swiss chocolatier, renown for their expertise and innovation of chocolate making. In fact, it is Daniel Peter, then known as Peter Cailler who invented milk chocolate in 1875, meanwhile large-scale production of their milk chocolate bars started in 1898.
But after over a century of staggering success, Cailler decided to revisit the recipe of one of its most traditional bar in 2017. In order to better match Swiss customers’ tastes, the recipe now contains more milk, more cacao and less sugar.
Where is Cailler chocolate made?
Cailler opened a factory in the canton of Fribourg in 1898. This is where Cailler milk bars and the majority of their chocolate production are manufactured through an extensive know-how of chocolate making and using the finest, local or sustainable ingredients.
When to enjoy Cailler milk chocolate?
It is hard to pick the best moment to savour this sweet delight. In fact, chocolate, most notably milk chocolate, provides plenty of micronutrients but it also releases endorphins into the brain and endorphins which make us happy, decrease stress and pain levels.
