History of Cailler Chocmel chocolate bar:
Cailler is the oldest Swiss chocolatier founded in 1819, and which most notably known to this day for the invention of milk chocolate in 1875. Indeed, it was Daniel Peter, then known as Peter Cailler who brought one of the biggest innovation in chocolate making to date. Since, Maison Cailler continue to pride themselves for their expertise and pioneerism.
This is then in 1920, that Chocmel was launched — the perfect balance between smooth Swiss alpine milk chocolate, sweet honey and crunchy almonds.
Where is Cailler chocolate made?
In 1898, Cailler opened a factory in the canton of Fribourg. This is where Chocmel chocolate bars and the majority of their chocolate production are still manufactured to this day.
