Camille Bloch is a traditional Swiss family business founded in Bern nearly a century ago. Today, the company remains family run, led by Daniel Bloch, the grandson of founder Camille Bloch.

Ragusa was first introduced in 1942 and quickly became the company’s flagship product. The name was inspired by the city of Dubrovnik, formerly known as Ragusa, which Camille Bloch visited during his travels. The original recipe, distinctive rectangular shape, and unique manufacturing method have remained unchanged for more than 75 years.

Where are Camille Bloch chocolates made?

Since 1935, all Ragusa products have been manufactured in Courtelary, in the French speaking Bernese Jura region of Switzerland, where the brand continues to produce its chocolates using traditional Swiss expertise.
