History of Ragusa chocolate bars:
Ragusa was created in 1942 by Swiss chocolatier Camille Bloch and quickly became the company’s flagship product. The name was inspired by the city of Dubrovnik, formerly known as Ragusa, which Camille Bloch visited during his travels.
The family business, founded in Bern and now run by Daniel Bloch, continues to produce Ragusa using the original recipe, distinctive rectangular structure, and traditional manufacturing methods developed more than 80 years ago.
Where are Ragusa chocolates made?
All Ragusa products are manufactured in Courtelary, in the French speaking Bernese Jura region of Switzerland. Camille Bloch has produced its chocolates at this single site since 1935, ensuring consistent Swiss quality and craftsmanship.
